Richard Scarry’s What Do People Do All Day?
I distinctly remember pouring over the images in this book for hours upon hours and days after days as a child. It was one of those well worn, thoroughly loved books which inspired many drawings, stories and imaginative play. And one which was enjoyed for many years and appreciated on many different levels as comprehension grew and understandings matured. So it was one that I most definitely had to have in the Little Boys Blue bookcase.
Welcome to Richard Scarry's Busytown!
Home to Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm, Goldbug, and more, precshoolers can tour the town on an adventure of discovery and see what fire fighters, construction workers, doctors, pilots, train conductors, and farmers, do all day! And now, this unabridged version of the original classic includes a detailed character map on the end papers!
This is a hard cover book and best suited to children from ages 3-7 (but I still adore pouring over the pages).
